The pool and view.
The property in San Remo has a lot of potential, with a great pool and a lovely view that we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, our stay was let down by the cleanliness on arrival. The house was not properly cleaned — the floors hadn’t been mopped, there was grime in the fridge, stained linen on the beds, rubbish and cigarette butts scattered around the backyard, and the garbage bins were overflowing.
While the management company did arrange for cleaners to return, the follow-up clean was still not very thorough, which was disappointing. In addition, the kitchen was poorly equipped, with limited cookware and no basic pantry staples provided. Overall, the location and communication were excellent, but the standard of cleaning and preparation needs significant improvement.
