Beachy Keen on Moseley - Laid-Back Stay by the Jetty

The accommodation had everything we needed to stay in, they thought of everything, it was so close to shops, beach and restaurants. It was comfortable and felt like a home away from home

The tv in the main room wasn’t a smart tv and we couldn’t get free to air tv to work - not a big deal or a deal breaker.

Wasn’t told that the guest laundry wasn’t operating. Bathroom handbasin was dirty & kept blocking up. Shower curtains were in a bad way. Mat in lounge room was dirty.

We liked the location and the apartment was tidy. It is convenient to Glenelg and the beach. The Tram is not currently running but a replacement bus stop is just round the corner. We would stay there again, just for the location and that it is an end sunny apartment.

The apartment has a few quirks with the front door being warped and therefore has gaps.. Some windows let lots of air through and are therefore not closing firmly . The heat/ air conditioner is very noisy and we couldn't use it at night because of this,and there were was no extra blankets for one bedroom and we were cold, so we used our jackets and towels for warmth. There was also no welcome or apartment information and the given pass code was wrong. We had to phone the office on this and the wifi access also.

I like the fact that the heater worked very well considering how cold and wet the weekend was. The kitchen was good and completely stocked in terms of crockery and utensils and kettle microwave etc. The staff especially Jessie we're extremely helpful and accommodating.

The place was old, dilapidated and the caps slash mugs that were available for use were completely stained on the inside and in my opinion therefore unhygienic. The couch or couch cover was stained and dirty. The shower and water pressure of the shower was extremely lacking considering the price we paid which was almost $300 per night for the long weekend.
