LOVELY APARTMENT

The apartment was in a great location with a good view of Fistral Beach. The accomodation was a good size with plenty of space for the three of us and comfortable to stay in.

The parking space was next to a wall and the space the other side of it had a car parked in it. The car was not parked straight and always right up to the line. It is impossible to get into the space. Had to park at the entrance to the space and along the fence of the neighbours property.

Disappointed

Property hasn’t been cleaned when we arrived. We are with toddler literally started crawling so that was a shock for us how much animal hair was on the floor. Baby crib hasn’t been assembled for us, this was requested in advance. Very strange buildings as it’s like no separate rooms and you can hear everything from the other room very clearly. To rest in this way, kind of impossible. Neighbours was very unfriendly and grumpy so we will never go back in the same place.

Overlooking Fistral Beach

I booked this accommodation for the use of the pool and unlike the local hotel we were able to prepare breakfast and lunch in the kitchen and eat it around the dining table. Athough there were lots of apartments around us, we had our windows open as it was hot, it was very quiet.

The mattresses were very soft.

The most incredible view to wake up to, eat dinner and relax too! Clean and comfy and easy service. The pool was a bonus even though we didn't have time to use it.

Location and apartment are great. But please see the comments below. It’s not a complaint but hopefully constructive for the owners to consider.

Some general maintenance issues:- 1. Cutlery - only 3 forks. We were a family of 4 2. Toaster didn’t work 3. Main bedroom mattress is terrible. You can feel the springs in your sides. Needs replacing 4. The main sliding doors leak when raining. In the middle where the two panels meet. 5. Rubber matting outside slips on step. Needs securing 6. WiFi would have been nice and is kind of expected these days.

Lovely apartment and excellent location

The location and amenities was great and generally the apartment was perfect for our stay. A welcoming gesture from the host when we arrived was a lovely touch. Check in and out was easy too and provided great communication regarding how to access the apartment. We absolutely loved Newquay, the walk in to town was about 20min but enjoyable and the beach is literally 5mins down the road. We didn’t get to use the pool as was out of season but would definitely consider going back to make the most of this too. I would highly recommend the Fistral beach surf school as my husband and son had an amazing 1 on 1 lesson with them.

Disappointed with little detail as the plates and bowls needed washing before we used them as maybe the previous people staying didn’t do a proper job. Also the toaster wasn’t working and we found sock in one of the rooms which definitely wasn’t one of ours.

We loved everything, apartment immaculate, great lay out, very comfortable beds & sofa, the PERFECT location, stunning views over Fistral beach & golf club, few minutes walk to Fistral beach but very quiet & peaceful. Great Host, so friendly & helpful. Will definitely return & highly recommend to everyone we know

Absolutely nothing ! I did read another review suggesting a small bin in bathroom & bedroom but we didn’t feel this was needed as the bin in the kitchen is central & there’s a bin outside.

Fantastisk ferie med ni skønne nætter i lejligheden. Søde naboer og dejlig pool med udsigt.

Lejligheden ligger fantastisk med udsigt ud over bugten og en skøn pool lige overfor. Der en et fint køkken med det hele og en hyggelig stue med stor sofa, spisebord osv. Bedst er udsigten og at vågne til mågernes lyde udenfor. Fantastiske værter der svarede på alle spørgsmål og som havde sat nogle lokale specialiteter klar til os, da vi ankom sent.

Der er lidt vej ned til butikkerne i Newquay, men det gør ikke noget med lidt ro og mulighed for gode gå- og køreture.
