Nice lake view from the balconies, Well equipped kitchen, nicely decorated home and location was quite. With provided guest cards, it was easy to get around the town, to Bad Ischl and to Salzburg.

WiFi was weak and unstable at the apartment. It took us some effort to find the property without a car. Carrying luggages and walking on a hill on a hot sunny day wasn’t easy. We could not find shared ride services in St. Gilgen.

Beautiful location, well-appointed kitchen, lovely dining area, comfortable beds, availability of washing machine. Easy to get to. And - we loved that was in St Gilgen yet away from all the rentals, tourists, hub bub in the town center. Town center is easily reached via a lovely walk by the lake to town (~ 15 min).

Perhaps more information on the area, and instrutions in English for the A/C and Heat, Wash Machine and Oven.

The location is this places USP! It’s picturesque, with scenic views of Wolfgangsee. The town it’s self is quite and mellow, perfect for relaxation, going out with the family or even a romantic get away with your significant other. The host is very friendly and is open to any questions or inquiries and are quick to respond via Booking’s messaging page, they will show everything you need and inform you about the city tax which is paid in cash at checkout. The apartment has almost everything you would need, Shower gell, hand soap, toilet paper, a full kitchen with a working microwave, oven and a dishwasher. My overall rating is 8.5.

Let me start off by saying that I’m really nitpicking here and I really enjoy my stay, but here are some things that we didn’t like, the apartment has a good level of cleanliness needs deep cleaning (Bed sheets and duvets were clean, toilets and showers were also clean), it’s was a bit dusty and my Allergic rhinitis was initially triggered and I had to use antihistamines daily while I was there. Would I book here again: 100%
