I recently stayed at an apartment unit at B11 Cheras Parkland Residence. While the unit itself was generally satisfactory and the stay was okay, my experience with the host was disappointing. Just before check-out, I was locked out of the unit with my belongings and the units access cards and keys still inside. I tried contacting the host immediately but had to wait more than two hours before receiving any response. The host refuses to pick up any of the phone calls and was adamant to only response through messaging. Even then, the host had no solution to offer and essentially left me to fend for myself. It was only after I sought assistance from the compound security that the situation was resolved — they helped arrange for the unit’s cleaning team to assist. Altogether, it took over three hours to gain access again, which was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. It’s shocking how unprepared and unhelpful the host was in dealing with what should be a relatively common issue. There was no initiative, no accountability, and no effort to help. While I understand that an apartment stay doesn’t offer the same service level as a hotel, basic service standards and a contingency plan for situations like this should be expected. I will be actively avoiding this hosting management company for any future bookings and recommend others do the same if they value peace of mind during their stay.
