Camera piccola ma molto ben tenuta, posizione centralissima, a pochi passi dal lungomare e in una strada molto caratteristica. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile, molto comoda la possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente sulle strisce blu grazie al pass fornito dalla proprietaria.

Sistemazione ideale per un breve soggiorno, bagno un po' piccolo ma pulito e ben tenuto. La stanza è soppalcata, non la mia soluzione ideale però mi sono trovato comunque bene.

Nn c'era il bidet

Upon arrival you will be met by your host. The unit is in an older part of Gaeta (not Old Gaeta). In the center of town. The unit has been thoughtfully updated. The heat/air unit works great if needed. The main bed is in a loft with TV with basic Italian format channels and wardrobe. A Futon is doubled as a Settee and bed on the lower level, along with a dining table. A large window opens to allow for fresh air on a micro-Terrace. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen has a 3-element induction stovetop, Fridge and sink. The free WIFI is sufficient for most except maybe high speeds. The unit is in an Vico (ally) there isn't really any view. The Unit is equipped with all the everyday things needed to except a clothes washer. There are DIY laundries nearby and also drop facilities nearby. As the unit is in the old part of town, it requires walking a narrow and steep, marble lined staircase up one flight from the entrance door to the unit door. Parking is via a parking pass. You are able to park in any blue line paid parking area in Gaeta. A lot of close convenient businesses for eating and shopping. You can walk to the beach or go early and park free on the street along the beach front. Note: there are free beaches, but the best are paid beaches, and you get an Umbrella, 2 chairs, and a sun lounger. They also may require a reservation ahead. In closing, a very quiet place to unwind after an adventurous day out. Good for 1-4 persons.

As an "old timer" to Gaeta, I understand the uniqueness of the old Via Independance area. there are few Lifts (elevators). I personally didn't find any negative issues.
