Melissi 1932 - Seaside Villa and Resort

Het is een ruimtelijk, goed ingericht huis met veel comfort. Keuken is volledig uitgerust, elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer, koelkast en airco! De box spring bedden met toppers liggen heerlijk. De tuin rondom kent veel zitjes en heeft mooi uitzicht over t meer. Er ligt wel een weg tussen het meer en t huis. Het zwembad is meer een koel plonsbad maar dat is heerlijk voor warme dagen. Er is ook een buitenbarbeque en olijfboomgaard. Dimitri en zijn vrouw waren zeer gastvrij. Bij aankomst lag er vers fruit klaar en een flesje snaps. Thee, koffie suiker, drinkwater alles in overvloed. En als je wat wilde weten of restaurant wilde reserveren dan regelende Dimitri dat voor je. Kortom deze accommodatie is echt een aanrader.

In het dorpje zelf is niet veel te beleven waardoor je aangewezen bent op een auto. Gelukkig is de kiosk en bakker wel vlakbij waardoor je alle basis boodschappen onder handbereik hebt. En een aandachtspuntje is dat de wifi het in de bovenste slaapkamers niet goed doet dus laat de kids beneden slapen 😉.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay here. The hosts were extremely welcoming and hospitable, they made us feel so comfortable. As a large family, there was everything we could possibly need there. They had so many sitting areas, a beautiful garden and terraces, the rooms were large and the bathrooms were fantastic. It was really handy that there was aircon in every room, as well as a small fridge in each room. The beach across the road was so lovely! We can not wait to return. Our stay at this incredible holiday home in Melissi, Greece, was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were completely blown away by everything this place had to offer. The location is absolutely unbeatable – perched on a peaceful hillside with jaw-dropping panoramic views of the sea that we simply couldn’t get enough of. Watching the sunrise every morning from the terrace was a moment of pure bliss. We were a family of 7, including 4 children, and the house couldn’t have been more perfect for our group. Spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out, it allowed everyone to enjoy their time together without ever feeling crowded. The kids had plenty of room to play, while the adults could unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. The house itself is in immaculate condition – beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every possible comfort. You can tell that every detail has been carefully thought through, from the cozy interiors to the modern appliances and thoughtful touches throughout. It truly felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space is just as impressive: spacious, tranquil, and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or enjoying a meal under the stars. We spent hours lounging outside, soaking up the sun and taking in the stunning surroundings. The garden is lush and perfectly kept – you can tell it’s lovingly cared for. But what truly made this stay exceptional was the host, Dimitris. He is, without a doubt, one of the kindest and most dedicated hosts we’ve ever met. From the moment we booked until the day we left, Dimitris went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect experience. Whether it was providing local recommendations, helping us with logistics, or just checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly, his hospitality was truly second to none. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in an authentic and breathtaking Greek setting, this is the place. We left Melissi with full hearts.
