Inter Artes Prestige House and Luxury Suite

Accoglienza di Barbara che è stata molto disponibile al checkin e ci ha offerto una ottima e abbondante colazione, soddisfando le nostre esigenze alimentari. Il locale è meraviglioso e arredato in modo particolare e curatissimo nei particolari. Un immersione nell'arte medioevale. La doccia e la vasca idromassaggio nella suite, sono ben funzionanti e piacevoli. Abbiamo anche acceso il camino per completare un'atmosfera da favola.

Le finestre sono piccole, e le luci interne da rivedere per migliroare la luminosità. Attenzione: non ci sono 2 camere separate, ma il lettino singolo è nel soggiorno.

This space is so funky and special. It feels like you’re living in a medieval yet modern place inside the world city of Viterbo. The host, Barbara, took such good care of us. Giving us amazing tips each day and easy to communicate with!

For a larger group it was a little awkward with beds in various places.

Quirky is probably the word. Certainly one of the most unusual places we’ve ever stayed.

Hate to leave any negative reviews but I have to call out the parking situation. This place advertises ‘on-site parking’ but it really doesn’t have any. For a start it is extremely difficult to navigate the exceptionally narrow streets of Viterbo to even get close - we spent ages going round in circles trying to find it. Once we got there (never would have if the owner hadn’t walked out to find us!) the car was too big for the single garage (the owners one car garage) which can only accommodate a 4m long car (ours was about 4.2m so no good). Then we had to drive out again and find a normal car park and walk back in. Only took 10min walk so why not be honest and say there is no parking available in medieval Viterbo and just park outside which is free anyway. We wasted at least an hour mucking around with all this. Apart from that it’s a strange place although very central. Spa bath is an incongruous touch in an old medieval building but quite cool. We didn’t like breakfast but probably our mistake for requesting an Italian breakfast without knowing what that meant - basically 3 types of stodgy cake and some biscuits. Not what we were hoping for! Other reviews do rave about this place but it was a bit disappointing for us.
