Situated in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, Franklin and surrounding area is perfect for discovering Hiking trails, nearby White Water Rafting, river Tubing, and so much more. For a wonderful vacation, there's no need to leave this lovely mountain cabin directly on Jones Creek. Relax on your deck of choice and listen to the Creek while savoring the cool mountain freshness. Fish for trout, play in the Creek just outside your door, and enjoy our 6 Person Hot Tub on a cool Mountain evening. Gather at the Fire Pit or Picnic area.
Located in the beautiful Nantahala National Forest, where breathtaking Mountains, valleys, streams and spectacular Waterfalls abound, Franklin is an official Appalachian Trail friendly destination. We have multiple access points to the AT for short or long hikes. Rich in gems and minerals and known as the “Gem Capital of the World," here in Franklin, gem-mining is an activity enjoyed by visitors of all ages. Downtown shopping, antique browsing, and quality restaurants are all within 12 minutes of this ideal vacation cabin. And if you want to explore further, a day trip to Highlands, Asheville, Atlanta or Nashville is within comfortable driving distance. Harrah's Cassino too is a short 40 minute drive.
This inviting Family home is a well-constructed, well maintained and very clean log cabin with 3 comfortable levels. Satellite TV, WiFi internet and cozy Rock Fireplace in the living Room are here for you, along with fun games (like outside Jenga) and a beautiful outside Hot Tub for up to 6 people. Open the windows and you'll enjoy Mountain breezes and the pleasant sound of Jones Creek, whether you are inside our outdoors.

everything was as described. For a large group, we had 5, the kitchen could be a bit small, but it had everything we needed.Sitting on the back porch in the morning listening to the stream was so relaxing.. and very much needed !!

We had a mothers/Father's Day family get away here and absolutely loved everything about our stay. Perfect room for us to spread out. The hot tub, creek, fire pit area were sooo perfect. Our 8 year old spent a lot of time just wandering in the creek. The adults loved just relaxing outdoors with the sound of the creek flowing. Such a peaceful, fun, perfectly put together cabin get away! Highly recommend! We will absolutely be back!

This is a great house! A huge thank you to Jerry for hooking up a portable starlink so that we could have internet after a week of rain had knocked out the internet and dish. Our AT&T phones didn’t have service out here, but we were able to FaceTime and message with the starlink. The hot tub was amazing and the creek and bridge were definitely a favorite of our kids. I LOVED the speed queen washer and dryer! Sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the mornings was a breath of fresh air, in more ways than one! We had a wonderful stay and were so happy to find this property last minute! Thank you so much Sally and Jerry!
