The road to the property is horrible. I know the property owner can't control this, but we would have taken a different vehicle if we had known. And having only one bathroom downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs was very inconvenient. The A/C arrangement could not keep up with the heat. Made for an interesting time. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor shower.

I’ll starts with the pros! This was a great place for a couple’s retreat. Very well decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. The pool is beautiful and the outdoor area was cute. The bed slept great and the listing was accurate (especially about needing 4 wheel drive!). Host was friendly and communicated well. AC works well. Unfortunately, we did feel like there were some details that were missed/ made the place fall short of 5 stars. Our last full day, we discovered the dryer didn’t work. There was also a pair of a previous guest’s underwear in the washing machine. The kitchen has everything you need, we just found the pots needed to be recleaned. One of the lazy Susan cabinets was also broken, which a cleaner should’ve caught. The AC worked, but the vents needed to be cleaned out. Twice, once in the kitchen and once in the bathroom, the vents blew a bunch of dust and crud onto the counter and tub. Shower/tub combo is very pretty but the water pressure isn’t great and there’s not any shelves for soap. Our towels had some stains on them and probably needed to be replaced too. We really enjoyed our stay, but felt like the details did matter here. It’s a lovely property and with those few things better cleaned/maintained it’ll be perfect!
