This place is absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed my stay. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows are very soft and fluffy. The kitchen and the bathroom and all areas were very clean. It's a plus having a washer and a dryer here.. You don't have to go somewhere to pay for your laundry.I was able to wash all of my clothes before I left to go back home. At one point there was a couple of noisy vacationers staying upstairs.But the management was quick to respond and quiet them. I am absolutely looking forward to stay in here again.The next time I am in the springs. I was able to cook full breakfasts and dinners with the available cookware on site. It's a full kitchen.. There is no dishwasher at this location, however, the sink is big enough to wash any dishes you may dirty up. It's got a stand up shower with plenty of shampoo conditioner and body wash.. Pretty good size LED tv along with plenty of channels to watch. The management was also gracious enough to provide me with a vacuum cleaner.So I could clean the place up before I left. the pictures you see is after I cleaned up after my stay.. I can't wait to come back to this wonderful little place.I absolutely love it..

This was my second time at the propery and it was great. The property is very comfortable and the area is very beautiful while being right by downtown Manitou. The aesthetic and of the peaceful underground unit is accompanied by the welcoming atmosphere. Great for a one or two person stay. I hope to eventually stay a third time.

Positives:
-AMAZING location; totally walkable to downtown and felt like a very safe and accessible spot
-The host provided shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, coffee, sugar, kitchen stuff, ect. I did appreciate that.
-The place is cute; they have done alot to make this basement space welcoming and cute. I appreciate the effort on the theme.
-I appreciated the easy direction and covered entrance to the basement; it was fully lit with an automatic light which was helpful for when I arrived at night
-the washer and dryer is a great amenity!!
Noise - you will fully hear everything happening in the house above you. To their credit it's written in the listing, but it was louder and more disruptive than anticipated. Could hear full conversations, what they were watching on tv, ect.
Parking - the spot reserved for this listing is TINY. I struggled the entire time parking there. You have to squeeze in between a rock wall and a carport. I had a mid-size suv - there is no way you could park a larger car there. I could not pull the GMC Terrain rental I had all the way in because it was so tight
Heater - when I arrived the night of the stay, the heater was not working. It was late and no one answered the messaged in the VRBO inbox. I ended up having to call 2 of the phone numbers listed, where someone brought out a space heater at 10:30 pm. I do appreciate them doing that, but it was extremely disruptive to my trip - I wanted to get there and go to bed but instead was waiting up for

The location is very convenient to walk to the bus or town. The host was quick to respond when contacted and to remedy things. We had a great stay in Manitou Springs.
