Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay! Enjoy our rustic home with walking trails and a stocked pond for catch & release fishing. This home boasts a vaulted ceiling, interior log walls, and sunroom. The home has 5 bedrooms, 3 full and 2 half baths. Sleeps a total of 12.
This naturalistic cabin setting is perfect for any traveler. While you feel secluded and away from the world here, the grocery stores and restaurants are just 10 minutes away.
The property is located in a wooded setting with a campfire pit in the front yard. The rooms are spacious and clean. The home has several "living spaces" so everyone has room to spread out! This was a wedding and family reunion trip. We had 11 adults and 2 dogs. Bed assignments were interesting as we had all adults and the double size bunk beds did not work for couples, but we knew this ahead of time and brought some camping cots.
The 3 floors and multiple gathering spaces including the firepit were perfect for our group! Also the many bathrooms were helpful. We were very comfortable.
We chose to keep the dogs to the first floor due to a few guests with allergies, and this was done easily with the door at the top of the first floor staircase.

Pros:- Tons of space- Comfortable furniture and beds- Fire pit is niceCons:- Pool table and multicade were both kinda busted- Some bedrooms could've been cleaner, there was a pretty obvious dog odor- TVs were weird with aggressive signage that threatened to take the security deposit if the inputs were changed, but they didn't even seem to be set up correctly- There's a second unit built on the property right in between this one and the pond which definitely detracts from the isolation and makes access to the property feel kind of awkwardOverall a great stay if you're mostly looking for lots of space and beds for a great price.

The cabin itself (# of rooms/bathrooms, size of space, collaboration areas, fire pit, wrap-around deck, hot tub, etc) was perfect for our group (12 people ages 17-75), though it’s important to note that the main level (kitchen, dining, living room, master suite) is on the second floor, so it might be a tough time for older/less mobile guests.
There were issues involving a malfunctioning washer, a shower curtain rigging that broke loose and fell on my daughter mid-shower, a very dirty bathroom/shower on the bottom floor, and a pervasive and extreme infestation of sugar ants.
There were great photos on the listing showing the cabin situated on a nice grassy hill with a dedicated pond with a dock at the bottom. These photos were inaccurate because a major construction project on that hill was on-going, with dust, noise, heavy equipment, and workers present. We expected pleasant access to be able to fish (my dad brought all of his fishing gear with that in mind).
The wifi is spotty and there were two kids needing to do college assignments via laptop and they were unable to keep a signal. What we ended up doing was use hotspots on our AT&T or T-Mobile phones (other providers had zero data signal).
The hostess was pleasant and responsive by text though she was unable to address any of our concerns during our actual stay.
I asked ahead of time to make sure the hot tub was clean, and pre-heated, which was done and communicated to that affect before we arrived.
