About this house rental
Accommodation located south of the Vexin Français Regional Nature Park, a paradise for hikers and cyclists.
We are located in the loops of the Seine, land of the Impressionists: Giverny, Les Andelys, Château Gaillard, Normandy 2 steps away, close to Meulan with all shops and markets, supermarkets 5 minutes by car.
25 km of cycle paths around the Seine (Return trip possible on a towpath from the house). The countryside, the fields of the Vexin from the picturesque village of Mezy sur Seine, the forest and the surrounding woods. And of course the Seine at the end of the garden.
Paris at 35 km (1 hour by direct train from Saint Lazare) TER.
Safari zoo of Thoiry 30 minutes away. Versailles 40 minutes away.
Secure parking in the driveway of the house.
House of 154m², adjoining the private part of the owners. Access to the garden of 1200 m² extending to the Seine with pontoon access.
On the first floor, large living room, with insert fireplace, traditional decoration.
Equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, filter and pod coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher).
Rustic bathroom with bath, sink and toilet.
Upstairs, a relaxation area on the landing with trundle bed.
1 attic bedroom with 2 single beds 80*190 (can be twinned into 1 double bed 160*190).
A bedroom with a double bed of 140*190.
A third bedroom with 2 single beds of 90*190 (twin into 1 double bed 180*190) with a bathroom (shower cabin and toilet).
Access to the terrace and the magnificent enclosed garden of 1,000 m² (the owners also have access), with the Seine at the end of the garden (not overlooked - view of a residential tourist island with small chalets). Possibility to fish on the pontoon.

Very nice and friendly hosts. Even offered us a trip on the river, but unfortunately the engine broke down just before we were to leave

This is a spectacular property, perfect in every way, we wanted a quiet family stay with access to Paris and surrounding areas and this is a perfect location. The garden is amazing as is the rest of the house. Facilities within the house are perfect and lots a space for a family to relax. we stayed during a heat wave and the house stayed cool and allowed us to enjoy the weather. Supermarkets are close as is the station and Paris is only 50 minutes and Versailles and many beautiful locations within 30km drive. we would return here. One of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in. Hosts where amazing with great information and opportunity for tours etc.

Host (Muriel) is speaking 3 languages (French, English and German) which makes it a lot easier. I do speak French however I have not used it for a long time. Wonderful house on the banks of the river Seine. Muriel had prepared extensive information on (local) restaurants, sightseeing and other items. If you do not wish to drive in Paris: train leaves from Hadricourt and rides directly into railway station Saint Lazare, right in the heart of Paris. This place I would higly recommend to other people!
