Before booking this home, please review ALL house rules to make sure that this is the right home for you. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
We enforce good neighbor policies on all managed properties. Renting homes in a neighborhood/community is a privilege and must be treated as such. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community. We do not provide speakers and/or sound systems on-site.
Anyone found to be violating noise ordinances will be subject to an immediate $3,000 fine, in addition to City-imposed fines which can reach up to $10,000 per violation, and can be removed from the property due to negligence.
SMOKING
To keep the property fresh and clean for all, smoking is not permitted inside. If smoke is detected, there will be a $1,000 fee for proper deep cleaning and odor removal. Violating this policy may result in guests being liable for the full cost of damage resulting from it.
PARTIES & EVENTS
Gatherings with your group are great, however, parties and events are not allowed. Any evidence of such will result in a $3,000 FINE and an immediate termination of your booking. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep the property in wonderful shape for all guests to come.
SECURITY CAMERAS / NOISE MONITORING
Please note that each home has anywhere from 3-4 security cameras covering the outside areas of the property only. These are to remain on and running at all times, solely to be used for security purposes and to ensure the safety of the property and traveler.
Additionally, we do equip each of our homes with a noise level monitoring device This is to remain active to monitor the decibel/sound levels only, to
protect against noise complaints from neighbors. It does not record any conversations, simply noise levels.
Lastly, we have a device connected to each home, that will alert to the number of devices at the home, to combat any large gatherings and/or parties.
NOTE, all aforementioned data, is not stored, and/or
deleted when no longer needed.
Important:
Note that some insects in the area are native and may enter the property when doors are left swung open. So please keep all doors closed when going in and out of the property. Thank you.

My daughter is a student athlete at U Tampa and has lots of games and moving out of dorms so I came to help out. Conveniently located it’s a 15 min drive to campus. House is very comfortable and I felt safe there alone. Close to salt shack restaurant and Publix Walmart etc. will definitely book again. Homeowner is very responsive

We had such a wonderful time visiting Tampa, especially since the charming Pearl House turned out to be a perfect fit for our family of 4. I will definitely give it a 5Star for everything…cleanliness to location. It was an easy zip in our rental car to and from the Tampa International Airport, to and from Straz Theatre where my daughter was competing YAGP Finals, to and from Trader Joe’s and the Walmart Superstore where we found all our food and necessities. The Salt Shack is a great lively restaurant with delicious starters, entrees and drinks (especially the Pina Coladas) overlooking the Bay, only a few minutes from the cottage. We went twice to eat out there it was so good. A 15 minute trip to Busch Gardens was another highlight and a lot of fun in Tampa. On the last day of our stay, we all went kayaking a short distance from where we were staying. Our time at the Pearl Cottage was so delightful and comfortable (got to love the comfy beds) we can’t wait to go back and stay there again.

We stayed at the pearl cottage for a few months while our home was being rebuilt from the hurricanes. It was a great temporary home, very well equipped with a nice open layout and some newly remodeled touches. The host was great very thoughtful and the communication was clear. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a home rental near SOG
