This three bedroom, 1 ½ bath townhouse is great for a family getaway! Hot Springs Village, a recreational resort community in Arkansas' Ouachita Mountains, near Lake Ouachita State Park, is the largest gated community in the U.S.
Hot Springs Village offers year-around golfing at 9 professionally designed golf courses, 15 professionally surfaced tennis courts, pickle ball courts, outdoor community pool (fee), putt-putt (free), fishing, boating, water-skiing, and swimming in 11 pristine recreational lakes, over 20 miles of walking trails, and many more activities for all ages. There are several restaurants located inside the Village for your dining pleasure.
Conveniently located to the West Gate, downtown Hot Springs and beautiful Lake Ouachita.
You will have all the comforts of home including 4 Roku smart Tvs. Comfortable living room with seating for 6 and a game table for 2. Large dining room with enough space for six adults. Linens and towels provided along with soaps and shampoos. The Desoto community pool ( open seasonally with a fee), Desoto Beach (free), playground (free) and putt-putt course (free) are just a few minutes drive away. We provide putters and golf balls for guests so there is no fee for putt-putt.

This property was one of the best we have stayed at. It was clean, well stocked, plenty of room and in a great neighborhood. The hosts were great! If we come to Arkansas again we will absolutely stay here.

We decided to travel to the Hot Springs area for the total eclipse and this was one of the first listings we looked at. We wanted a relatively small place for just the 2 of us, and were intrigued by the idea of a gated golf community. The community is huge, and the townhouse is in a small neighborhood within the community with about 20 similar townhomes (don’t know exact number). You will be in close proximity to your neighbors, but it’s a calm and established area. It turned out to be perfect for the eclipse—there are 9 golf courses and 11 lakes within the Village, and we were able to walk about 20 yards to a perfect viewing area with just a few other folks. I would recommend this for people who love golf (which we don’t); could make a great golf getaway for a couple or possibly two couples, but with only one and a half baths, that’s an issue. The layout upstairs is a little strange (staircase directly outside the bathroom door), and would not be good for the mobility impaired (steps going in, steps to bedrooms, shower/tub combination that requires a big step in). It was very well provisioned, with great hosts, which was a big plus!
