Villa El Casot

Stunning views from the hilltop villa .Very spacious villa ,very well equipped great air con ,nice pool .Ramon ( next door neighbour ) our contact person was extremely helpful

While the hilltop views were stunning , the very steep incline down to the nearest beach( Sa Tuna ) meant walking down ok but walking back up in the heat very very difficult unless young and superfit --- so it meant driving everywhere. There was a pathway to the lovely town of Begur which started near the villa ( difficult to locate but Ramon kindly took me up to the starting point )---- the path itself was a lovely shaded 25/30 min pleasant walk but the initial 30yds meant a very careful scramble down the rocks ----not possible if not fit and mobile .Villa itself on 4 levels so lots of steep steps --- not great for kids or oldies. Lovely pool but again lots of steps down to it and decking area around it very tired --- also no cover on the chlorine dispenser next to the pool and on two occasions one of the grandchildren stepped into to it and could have seriously hurt a foot or leg. There was a continous bad smell of drains down at the pool. The dishwasher wasn't working properly --- which meant we had to hand wash many of the items .
