Muong Hoa River View Homestay

The location is quite a long way out of Sapa, but if you want an authentic experience with amazing views and surrounded in valley culture this is an amazing place to stay.

The staff members are fantastic, including the pets that look after you. The location is amazing and the view from the room is breathtaking. 20 mins away from the centre.

Not a big fan of the shower, the toilet seat and the sink goes all wet because the shower is open and between them.

Halley, who was our first point of contact was an amazing host. She was very attentive and genuine. Must have been the best host my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of communicating with. The rest of the staff at the facility were all really kind and attentive. The pool was amazing. The views were amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The menu had enough option as well. Breakfast was also lovely.

The bed was rock hard. I struggled to sleep. The bathroom was a little bare with no soap holder in the shower. The main lights were way too bright in the room. The room did not have it own bar fridge. The staff that did the messages were not really focused. Checking her phone throughout and her phone was vibrating constantly on the bed I was laying on. A little far out of the city centre.

We liked that it was in a very peaceful area with the views to the valley, so we could relax there.

First of all, we came from Hanoi to Sapa during the night, it was quite an exhausting trip, and they did not allow us to check-in before 3PM so we lost almost a full day there waiting to check in since 8AM. The breakfast could also improve, for example they just had a small and broken toaster for all guests and some of the breakfast food wasn’t very warm.
