Το συγκεκριμένο δωμάτιο δεν είχε φυσικό φωτισμό γιατί ήταν δύο-τρία σκαλιά κάτω από την επιφάνεια του εδάφους και δεν ειχε αλλο παραθυρο εκτος απο το παραθυρο του μπανιου. Δεν ήταν πολύ ενοχλητικό αλλά θα προτιμούσα να έχει, ωστόσο δεν θυμάμαι αν αυτό ηταν γραμμένο στη περιγραφή ή όχι. Το κατάλυμα έχει κι άλλα δωμάτια σε όροφο οπότε κάποιος μπορεί να διαλέξει κάποιο άλλο αν θέλει.

We love Gerolimenas, and so were looking forward to our stay. And there is a lot to like about the place - but a lot that really needs to be improved or addressed. It could be so good but a lack of hospitality nouse and poor building maintenance really lets it down. The positives: Staff are super friendly and want to do well. The beds were extremely comfortable. The location is excellent - you can't swim there but the water access is only a few minutes away so it isn't a problem. The views from your balcony are stunning. The wifi is ok for a remote country location. Despite the website saying that there isn't a restaurant, the new cocktail bar serves delicious burgers, salads and pizzas and a very good wine list.

Unfortunately, there was a long list of minor and major things that really put a damper on our 2-night stay. Whilst the bedrooms had super comfortable beds, only one had a tiny window therefore no good if you are claustrophobic. No problem, except the restaurant didn't observe their own Quiet hours and played music till 2am the first evening. Super steep stairs to get to the bedroom (you'll probably need to use your hands if you are tall like me to go up), which weren't finished properly (cheap foam and bare wood joins), the handrail wobbled like it would give way any minute, and the upstairs toilet door was broken so no privacy there. A great kitchenette but no hot water coming through the sink and no tea towels to dry dishes. A mosquito oil plug was great - till you tried to plug it in and discovered that the prongs were broken. We were above the hotel kitchen, so we regularly had cooking smells coming through, and staff sitting in the stairwell smoking or flicking cigarette butts into the garden in the morning. The website says breakfast is provided but that doesn't mean it is free (it was actually delicious so it's the positioning I had issue with, not the price). We had a storm and both front and back doors had rainwater running in. The shower didn't work properly. This sounds pedantic, but it's more that I am disappointed that a place that COULD be a premium property (and charged like one) let itself, and us, down so badly on stuff that could so easily be fixed if anyone actually gave a damn.
