Seaside Hostel Malapascua

Surprisingly really great price for family room to myself. They had a refillable water station.

Bathroom was meh. No kettle available to make own coffee.

I stayed 6 nights here, I loved my room on the top floor, it was my happy place, very nice view and so relaxing place! The place is very essential, if you don’t have big expectations will be fine for you (:

I think they normally don’t provide towel Unless you ask for it, but my first night I didn’t have one. Also no bar or restaurant

Lots of positives! Right next to the dive shop and we did our PADI and open water with them so that was perfect. Location is great, on the waterfront and near everything. Little terrace is perfect for sunset watching, chilling, etc. AC is brilliant makes the room really cold. Generally the beds were big and comfy - quite hard but nice. When the staff were around, they were super friendly.

A few negatives / areas lacking comfort. The shower doesn’t really work - only 2 strands of water coming out. Our water actually cut off a couple of times also - however they did turn it on within 2 hours every time. The terrace cushions are quite run down and coming apart. There was often no body on reception to ask for items like toilet roll. We also didn’t have our bin in the bathroom changed at all but when we tried to ask someone there was never anybody there.
