CASA TÔMBUA - Pool - Beach & Center 300m - AC - WiFi

The apartment is spacious, well furnished and in a great location. It is a quiet building - mostly local residents - so it was a peaceful stay, we had the pool to ourselves almost every day and the pool is lovely. Easy contact with the host who is kind and friendly. Municipal market very nearby for cheap, fresh Portuguese produce. Short, easy walk to the beach. No dedicated parking space, and it does get busy but we were able to find a space each day.

The parking was the trickiest thing because it does get very busy - especially in the evenings when people come into Carvoeiro for the restaurants etc. However, we always did find a space if we had been out for a day trip - so not a huge problem - so long as you are happy to walk a bit!

Lovely hosts, great communication. Excellent location - could be a bit noisy on balcony but only to be expected when so central - abundance of bars and restaurants on doorstep. 10 min walk to main beach. Well equipped kitchen etc, good supply of dishwasher/laundry capsules/washing up liquid/hand soap etc. Pool area lovely and usually no-one else using it.

The benches on balcony not very comfy. Water supply for shower/sink at pool area wasn't working - only actually tried to use on last day and reported to owners who said they would look into it.

Lovely furnished apartment in a very central location. Nice pool with dedicated apartment loungers. Great communication from Miriam with apartment ready before check in time. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Highly recommend

The hosts were outstanding. Miriam and Filipe went above and beyond and made our stay memorable. Their apartment is even better than the pictures, we loved everything, it was very spacious and comfortable, the pool was really great and it was very easy to move around. We were a bit unlucky because the beach wasn’t appropriate for swimming due to an algae infestation, but we still had a great time, we enjoyed trails around the region, and with the pool we didn’t really feel we were missing anything. We forgot a notebook with huge sentimental value, and Miriam was so kind to send it via post. She has a keen eye for detail, very attentive and is reachable with fast responses when needed. I absolute recommend this place and would love to be back. Thank you Miriam & Filipe!

This is rare, but I really have nothing to say here. It’s 10/10
