Zarautz Beach with parking by Aston Rentals

Wat een mega appartement! Voor ons twee eigenlijk veel te groot, maar voor de laatste dagen van onze vakantie wilden we nog even wat extra comfort. Het balkon was echt heerlijk, vooral in de namiddag met volop zon. De bedden lagen goed en de douche was prima in orde.

Er was geen airconditioning, wat het verblijf op warmere dagen minder comfortabel maakte. Daarnaast misten we een paar praktische zaken zoals een kurkentrekker en een afvalpas. Ook vonden we de hoeveelheid handdoeken wat beperkt; er waren handdoeken voor twee personen en geen theedoek, waardoor we er één in de keuken hebben moeten gebruiken. Gezien de prijs hadden we iets meer kwaliteit en voorzieningen verwacht.

Fantastic view, great location. Several seating areas, great for a family to gather. Great to have a car park.

Access upon arrival was a drama. Too many unclear instructions and the app didn't work. A kind man let us into the complex, but the same entry drama happened with the apartment block entry -- we had to wait for a kind occupant to unlock the exterior door to the block and let us in. Although we were told we had early access, the code to the apartment didn't work until 4pm. Once in, we found supplies were meagre -- 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for 7 days, 2 dishwasher tablets, no hand soap or laundry detergent, 1 teatowel. In communication with the property manager, I was told we were expected to provide our own supplies. When I complained that by paying a lot of money to stay 7 nights, we would expect more supplies, she organised the cleaning team to drop off more. But it's not great to arrive and have to complain. A great view doesn't make up for poor service.
