This is located a 20 min walk from the centre of Menaggio in a quiet and secure gated community. (Not a negative but like all of the town the walk is down and then back up a strong hill). Has parking which is a must for the town. Very clean and quiet. Well presented and suitable for parents and kids or two couples. Area for kids to run around in.
Communication was not good and very 'automated'. No response to questions until day before arrival despite being booked months before. Confusing how to access the car gate to allow us to park car and get into apartment.
No functional air con. Easier/better to leave windows open (and suffer effect of insects).
No wifi during stay. Flagged to operator but not resolved over 3/4 days.
