I really enjoy staying in local hotels and motels instead of chains and I was not disappointed at Heart of the Berkshires. My room was comfortable, clean, and sufficiently spacious for myself or for a couple. I like the wood floors and the wood paneling that gives the room some character. The location is great, only a few minutes away from the middle of Pittsfield, and easy to get to other parts of the Berkshires. It was very quiet and safe. And great value!
Loved everything! Especially being able to check in by a code.

Was nice and clean, vintage 1960's room. Great location. Nice self check in/door code. Nice bedding and Tv.
Lighting could have been better, door mat was in bad repair. Bathroom was clean, well stocked, shower a bit small for plus sized people.
