It was quiet and peaceful
It was cold downstairs. I was alone and didn't want to use the fireplace.

Trees covered a lot of the area so it seems private and secluded.
It was cheap
AC worked great.
The Hot tub didn't work, The tub inside leaked at the handle, and the washer didn't work. In general the upkeep of the utilities is poor, but it's nice if you can get over that. These are all things that are probably simple fixes so don't let this sole factor when you decide on whether to book it.
