About this campground/ rv resort rental
Experience wilderness at its finest on Beautiful Lake Vermilion. The site is NOT accessible by car. You are welcome to bring your own boat, you have a private dock at the campsite. The primative campsite includes a tent that sleeps 4 with a queen size bed and a pullout full size couch. We also provide all the kitchen supply you need to cook in the great outdoors. Including a camping stove and propane. There is no heat provided for the tent, however we can rent you a heater… just ask. We also provide a temporary portable tent with a composit toilet for your bathroom camping. The site is lit up at night with solar lighting. Firewood is all around in the woods, but if you don’t want to collect it we suggest you bring your own. You need to bring your own towels but bed linens are provided. Experience the great outdoors by camping with us. All proceeds go to help disabled Veterans and their families. We have other camping equipment available for rent and we are happy to supply a ride to the site if you need one. We provide a small rowboat at the site for your fishing and outside enjoyment.

Excellent arrangement for glamping. Great choice for someone older who still likes to camp but can't get off the ground and needs more space to function. Recommend bringing your own firewood and a boat too if you have one. There is a rowboat available to use but if you have limited balance or agility, it is difficult to get in without dumping. Host does deliver you and your supplies to the site if needed. The best glamping site in the US I have come across to this point. Recommend if you want a different and upgraded experience from regular outdoor camping with a tent. No electricity so be sure to bring flashlights. The solar lighting doesn't come on until 10 pm.

Great piece of property with a wilderness feel that’s a short boat ride to vehicles and supplies. Spent a week, could have been a month. We loved it - the vistas, the stars, the loons, the comfort …. Not a single complaint. Highly recommended. Will probably return.

The property was excellent, location was easy to access with a short boat ride. Tent was large enough for all four of us adults. Cooking and cleaning supplies were available and worked great. Fire pit was located on hill top with amazing view of the lake. My friends and I really enjoyed the stay. Host was easy to contact when needed.
