About this villa rental
Villa Casa das Dunas is a spacious and sophisticated property located in one of the most privileged areas of Galé, just a few steps from the sand, and close to the beautiful beaches of Salgados and São Rafael, offering wonderful sea views. With a peaceful and private atmosphere, it is the perfect retreat for families or groups seeking comfort and an exceptional location in the Algarve.
The villa features a bright and spacious living and dining area with direct access to the outdoors, creating the ideal setting for relaxing or spending quality time together. The modern, fully equipped kitchen provides all the convenience needed for longer stays or shared meals with family and friends.
On the ground floor, there are 6 bedrooms, 4 of them en-suite, as well as a shared bathroom with shower. On the lower level, the villa offers 3 additional bedrooms, 2 en-suite, another bathroom with shower and a guest WC, ensuring comfort, space and flexibility for larger families or groups.
Outside, the villa has been designed to make the most of the Algarve climate, featuring an inviting private heated pool (available as an extra), an outdoor shower, a barbecue and pleasant al fresco dining areas. The garden and spacious terraces provide the perfect environment to relax with total privacy, always with the sea as a backdrop.
With free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and parking for 2 vehicles, the property guarantees complete comfort. Nearby you will find supermarkets, bars and restaurants, including one with 2 Michelin stars, as well as the Salgados golf course and its renowned nature reserve. Albufeira’s town centre is just a 10-minute drive away, offering easy access to all amenities and entertainment.
The property is equipped with a modern security alarm system. Image capture is an integrated feature of the alarm system and is only activated if the alarm is switched on and triggered in response to a potential intrusion.
The changeover day for this property is Thursday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).
If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.
This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).
Pool heating is always an added value for your holiday, especially when traveling with children. When the pool heating is activated, the water temperature will always be 5ºC to 8ºC higher than it would be without heating.
Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.
Group deposit: € 200 per guest (payment by credit/debit card).
Please note that the occupancy for this property is 16 guests
From the 17th to the 22th guest, an additional fee will be charged, which includes additional beds.
In accordance with current legislation, tourist taxes may apply.

Hands down, a perfect location. There's a market just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the beach is only 3 minutes on foot. There you'll find a bar, a couple of restaurants, and massages right on the sand. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and ocean toys are all available to rent as well. Albufeira itself is just a 10-15 minute drive, and there was enough parking for three compact SUVs.The villa is as described and ideal for a big group. We had 14 people and plenty of space to come together or split off when we wanted privacy. Our family loved having the option of swimming in the pool or walking down to the beach. Some areas of the home felt a bit more run-down than others, especially the bathrooms, and the beds weren't very comfortable. They felt closer to sleeping on cardboard than a real mattress. We also noticed a few ants on arrival and didn't think much of it, but by the next day we found a major infestation in one corner of the house, with scattered ants elsewhere that seemed to be searching for food. This was probably the worst part of our stay.The rooftop was a nice touch to hang out on and watch the sunset. There was another rooftop we asked for access to, and they said they'd look into it, but we never got a response.Overall, this villa is great with lots of potential. It just needs some updating, comfier beds, and something done about the ant problem.

An amazing property with total privacy and high-end comfort. The house was spotless, modern, and very well-equipped with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The bedroom distribution across the floors gave everyone their own space. The views over the sea are wonderful, especially during sunset. Albufeira town center is just a short drive away, making it very convenient.

We had a memorable holiday at this sophisticated villa. The views of the sea from the spacious terraces are stunning. The house is very well-maintained, and having private parking for our vehicles was a big plus. The communication with the support team was excellent from arrival to departure. We cannot wait to return!
