The Hemingway (14 Bedrooms): Main level features the second grand room, professional kitchen, and a private media room with projector (seats 20). Location was great. Upkeep of home was lacking. Some bathrooms were dirty, balcony was very dirty a quick sweep and brushing off of the chairs and railings to remove spider webs and dead insects would have gone a long way The pool heater was not working I had let them know a week before our trip that this was wanted and paid extra to get the pool heated before we arrived. Very disappointing We ran out of gas for stove and had to borrow propane from sister house for outdoor grills. Dishwashers need repair. But view was wonderful, horses came by almost every day

We booked this house last minute as our wedding, which was originally planned for Asheville, North Carolina was canceled due to hurricane Helena. We chose the Fitzgerald as it had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate the family. The wedding was just a small internal affair, vendors or anything like that. The property owner was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. We had one minor issue where a pipe got backed up, but they came and took care of everything that we needed to get done. The wedding in the photos turned out great! I recommend , this place for a great family and friends getaway !

Our family of 9 had a wonderful week at the Fitzgerald Beach House. Our host really saved our vacation with a last minute booking as our original rental was cancelled hours prior to arriving. The house has all the amenities you could possibly need and then some! Kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessities for cooking. Although we did bring some of our kitchen favorites to make things more enjoyable but that was just our own personal preference. The house was clean and met all our expectations. It was very nice being on the 4x4 and only being 2 miles up was an added bonus.
Our families favorites this week included, spending time in the pool, sunrise views, walks on the beach, watching movies in the living room in the evening and some of us enjoyed playing pool in the game room.
