About this farm stay rental
Perfect for families (and extended family!) this 5 bedrooms, 2 full bath is set on 16 private acres at the foot of the Catksill mountains in the small hamlet of Acra. The great room is perfect for families to gather, and the newly renovated kitchen has all the amenities you need for a group. Just 10 minutes from Windham mountain, with its ski resort and winter adventure park, it's perfect for ski weekends. In the warm months, there's plenty of hiking, fishing, apple picking and the thriving towns of Catskill and Hudson are both within 20 minutes. The town of Cairo is just 5 minutes away, with all the everyday needs (grocery store, drugstore, gas station) but when sitting in the shade of grape vines under the back pergola, you feel worlds away from everyday life.

6 adult friends from around the country converged on this magical farmhouse for one of the best weekends of our lives. The house is more stunning than the photos show, and the owners have clearly thought through how to provide a truly superb experience. There were plenty of air conditioners and fans to keep us cool in NY summer, wood ready for the fire pit, comfortable beds, and so much more. We hope to book this place many more times in our future.
