About this space
Only 5 miles from Clemson's campus, this retreat is perfectly situated on almost a full acre. You’ll love the cozy feel, with lots of amenities, including a well stocked kitchen, three-season screened-in porch, & open floor plan. Though the house isn’t directly on the water, our private dock on Hartwell is only a 1-2 min walk away! Nestled between Greenville and the mountains, this home is great for Clemson trips, lake adventures, close night life, restaurants, family entertainment, & more!
The space
You will have access to the entire home, with one bedroom with a king bed, one bedroom with a double bed, and one bedroom with two twin beds. We also have a queen air mattress that can be used to sleep two additional guests. The living and dinning rooms and kitchen are open, spacious, and well stocked. There are two full bathrooms, one next to each bedroom. There are also three porches on the home, with one being a cozy three-season screened-in porch that is perfect for sunrises or sunsets.
Guest access
You'll have access to the whole home, decks, and the dock at the lake. Though the house is not located directly on the water, our private dock is only a 1-2 minute walk from the home. The dock is also on the deep water at Hartwell, so it never dries up during drought seasons. And no need for key pickup or drop off! We have smart technology locks and we can send you a temporary code to let you in for your entire stay! We ask that you not use the extra building (ongoing projects), except to throw out your trash when you are leaving the property (instructions will be included with checkout), or the master closet, as it is used for a owner's closet.
Other things to note
We welcome well behaved and potty trained pets. We do request a $50 one time per stay charge for pets that accompany our guests for additional cleaning purposes. Additional cleaning compensation may be required depending on the severity of the cleaning needed.
For guests with pet allergies, please know that we thoroughly clean the home in between guest visits, but this is a pet friendly home and other guests may have had pets in the home during their stay.

Bad: the full size bed in the 2nd bedroom needs replacing. You can feel the springs and is hard as a rock. And there was some food in the sink strainer. Good: the house is sooo stinkin cute. The set up is great. Master bedroom is off of the living room and the 2 other bedrooms are on the other side of the house. The master bed was amazing. Shower pressure was great. Towels and wash rags were available for everyone. And there was a box fan in one of the bedroom. All in all. This house was great and I would rent again if I come back to here.

Overall the place was good for just a one night stay for me and my friends for a bachelor party. There was plenty of room, and the house was overall clean and comfortable. I did have a concern with there being some ants in the kitchen on the counter next to the sink. But overall it was decent for a one night stay.

The property was as described. Close to Clemson. We were there for Clemson graduation, and did not have time or weather conditions for the lake. Could use some extra pillows, blankets and towels, but comfortable stay.

Hosts were very responsive and helpful. House was not as clean as would be expected, flooring was dirty, microwave had old food residue, refrigerator was dirty inside and outside, not all plateware fit in microwave, recommend new coffeepot, ceiling looked moldy or had water spots in some locations. Master bathroom has recently been re-done, secondary bath was dirty, kitchen sink appeared to have dirt / mold residue. We very much appreciated shampoo and conditioner provided. Hosts were very responsive and we very much appreciated shampoo and conditioner provided.
