At Cast Away Bay, your comfort and convenience are our top priorities. Enjoy the comforts of home with provided Wi-Fi and streaming services. The lower level features a cozy second living room where you can curl up and relax, perfect for those rainy days. The fully stocked kitchen allows for effortless entertaining and the enjoyment of homecooked meals. We also provide toiletries, paper towels, bedding, and bath towels, ensuring a hassle-free stay.
On the clear nights experience a delightful evening beneath the starry skies, gazing out over the peaceful lake while gathered around a crackling campfire. Firewood is provided for your convenience.
Muskellunge Lake, spanning across 270 acres, is well-known for its excellent fishing and ample space for water sports. Cast a line from the dock or take the boat out to reel in panfish, bass, musky, northern pike, and walleye! To enhance your lake enjoyment, we provide adult kayaks, kids kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboard. Additionally, the sandy bay on the east side of the lake is a great spot for swimming and leisurely water activities.
Cast Away Bay is not just a summer haven; it offers an unforgettable winter experience as well. With direct access to over 500 miles of snowmobile trails and 30 miles of silent sport trails waiting to be explored, there's endless fun to be had out your front door. When you're ready for a change of pace, downtown Eagle River is just minutes away, offering a variety of dining options. Alternatively, take a scenic 20-minute drive to Minocqua and immerse yourself in the charm of local shops
ATV/Snowmobile trails are 0.1 miles away, accessible directly from the property on snow packed roads. Parking space for two 30' trailers and trucks in front of the cabin, and a 20' trailer and truck in the parking space across the street.

There are outdoor security cameras that are turned off upon arrival and turned back on at departure time. Please note that outdoor amenities are seasonal and may be snow covered.

We had a wonderful week at a very clean and updated cottage on a beautiful and peaceful lake! We had plenty of space to spread out, plenty of bathrooms, and a beautiful view! Host was excellent and responded immediately to all our questions!

Very enjoyable stay, place was perfect for our family.The kids realy enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking and Paddle Boating.Plenty of area for us all to unwind and relax.We would definitely come back.
