Luxury apartment overlooking Javea Bay and Mountains

Fantastic views over Peniscola. The pool was also very nice in the very hot weather. The area was very peaceful and quiet. Apartment was clean and bed was comfy. The shower was good and the cooker & microwave worked well. We did enjoy our stay and thought it was pretty good value for money. Owner was friendly.

The check-in procedure wasn’t very good, there was no contact with us prior to us arriving. I had to call the owner to ask what we needed to do as he didn’t seem to be expecting us or which apartment we had booked, even though I had booked well in advance. The apartment has the potential to be fantastic but it lacked some essential cooking equipment, a decent set of saucepans, no tea towels ,no kettle, the bath towels looked very old , a broken chair on the terrace. The fridge had a pool of water under it during our stay. The bedding looked old and was polyester and should be cotton . It needs an upgrade on the kitchen equipment , towels , bedding etc as everything looks old and tatty. Also some written instructions about WiFi , taxis etc would have been useful so you don’t have to keep calling the owner to ask.

Location at walking distance to the centre of Javea which has a lot of little bars and restaurants. The nice is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The terrace has a nice sea view and is great to spend the evening after a beach day The lady who received us was also very helpful and communicative. Parking garage also a big plus.
