Location, apartment as a whole, couldn't fault it. Owners very helpful and provided with tips and suggestions to help me get the best out of my stay.

Insgesamt kann ich die FeWo Karo sehr empfehlen, da der Check-In und die Türverriegelung durch ein Zahlencode sehr einfach gemacht wurde. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und freuen uns darauf, bald wieder einen netten Urlaub dort zu genießen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend, und haben uns freundlich begrüßt! Darüber hinaus haben die Gastgeber im Bad einen kleinen Korb voller Utensilien bereit gelegt, falls man was von Zuhause vergessen haben sollte.

Es gab so gut wie nichts, was ich zu bemängeln habe. Für alles war gedacht und man hat sich echt wohl gefühlt. Ich hätte es perfekt gefunden, wenn die Kaffeemaschine durch eine Mikrowelle ausgetauscht wäre, aber da hat jeder seine eigenen Geschmäcker und das ist auch völlig in Ordnung. Großes Lob!

We are full Genius members and, despite staying in many Booking.com properties, we have never once left a review. The fact that we are doing so now should speak volumes. Yes, the property was clean and well placed for visiting the “Eagle’s Nest,” and the bedrooms themselves were acceptable. Our score is deliberately generous so that this review is seen. It reflects the fact that the property can just about serve as a one-night stop for two people. For anything longer, or for more than two guests, our true rating would be far far lower.

But beyond that, the experience fell well short. The so-called living area is completely unfit for purpose: just 18 square metres combining kitchen, dining and lounge, with no sofa at all — only hard dining chairs and a bench. It might just about do for one night for two people, but any longer, or with four guests, it becomes cramped, uncomfortable and unworkable. Access is another major issue. The property sits off a very narrow, unlit single-track road, making arrival after dark difficult and unsafe. Parking is in a grass field with no security lighting, and the approach to the property involves stairs, again with no lighting. For anyone with mobility concerns, this property is a complete non-starter. On top of this, there was no iron or ironing board, which would have been a basic and useful provision.
