Great location and great that it had parking. Lots of appliances in the cottage and nice that it was decorated for Christmas
The bedsheets were not breathable meaning that we got extremely hot at night and therefore didn’t sleep well. The coffee machine was broken (this was not dealt with during our stay despite being mentioned to hosts on first morning) and key safe was broken. Some mould found in bathroom behind shelves to right of shower

A lovely, cosy and charming cottage that had every appliance needed for any eventuality. We appreciated the welcome biscuits and that everything was so clean and welcoming. We had great communication from our host and were close to the shops and restaurants. Mousehole is so charming and is the perfect place for a quiet getaway.
Having a garage just up the hill was great as parking is impossible unless you use the harbour parking.
The cottage was almost impossible to find. We needed up in the carpark in Duck street with the GPS location we were advised to use to locate the property. We had to park the car and find the cottage on foot. The little pebble with the cottage name on, that is on the ground by a telegraph pole is not enough to identify the place and as you have to walk down a path, past other cottages it would be helpful to have the name of the cottage on the gate ( as noted in the instructions and was not on the gate).
We didn't have any logs for the log burner, but in fairness it was quite mild, but I chose the venue because I like a log burner and its mentioned in the house instructions book.
We also didn't get the promised milk for our arrival.
Small inconveniences, and our stay was far from ruined by the wood and the milk not being provided, but the directions need some work so this fabulous cottage can be found easily upon arrival and if you promise items they should be provided.

Good location ... good accommodations. Finding the rental was very confusing, and the actual address given to us doesn't exist on maps. Luckily, some locals had an idea of where the unit was. I would not call this a "cottage" as it is an apartment.
We were told that there is an area at the rental where we could park and unload ( critical, as my Mum requires a wheelchair.) This was an inaccuracy- we had to stop in the street and block any vehicles behind us to load and unload my Mum from the car. The garage was a plus, but it is a good 5-10 minute hike uphill from the rental.
