Casitas at Capitol Reef

Good location. Had amenities like kitchenette and multiple luggage stands that made our trip nicer. Comfortable. Quiet. We were passing through and didn’t have time to fully enjoy the property.

Baseboards were dirty in bathroom and freezer was full of overflowing ice—we cleaned some out to fit our items in. Housekeeping should check occasionally!

Not a big deal, but the baseboards were not wiped...again, not a big deal...just a bugaboo of mine! Again, not a big deal, but there was only 1 glass for the 2 of us. We used the coffee cups instead, so it worked out fine.

Great location and access to a washer/dryer.

The ugly concrete floors and uncomfortable mattress. Very expensive.

The accommodation is private in that it is a standalone "tiny home".

A tiny home should have at least one closet for clothes and would have been great if this unit had a washer/dryer like the others on the property. The living space is very cramped. This is not a great accommodation for winter because the room/home never got warm even with the heater on at 82 degrees. We did have an issue with the staff.. We texted and emailed a request for a late check out because my wife needed to have wifi and a desk at 11am-noon for a work meeting, but we did not hear back at all. We contacted the owners of another property 5 minutes away we found on a short-term rental site that morning and they had us checked in early by 11am to accommodate my wife's meeting, and we stayed there for the duration of our trip.
