Tout est parfait. La distribution des pièces, l’aménagement confortable et la fonctionnalité des équipements.

Il y tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un bon moment, nous y étions une nuit, mais on peut même envisager plus.

Les escaliers sont très raides, mais en y allant lentement ça va. Il manquait un essuie vaisselle pour sécher la vaisselle lavée.

Nice, clean apartment. Avize is a quiet town in the lovely Champagne region. Caroline is a nice host.

The apartment was unbearably hot throughout our stay, day and night. We had booked 5 nights but left after just 3 nights in what felt like a sauna. Older guests and anyone with health conditions would be better off avoiding this -otherwise very pleasant- apartment during the warmer months of spring and summer. It is the only house on the street without shutters. The large living-room windows used to have shutters, but these have been removed. As a result, the windows receive direct sunlight all day. There are curtains on the inside, but they cannot be drawn while the windows are open. When we arrived, the bedroom was in full sunlight. Although it has roller blinds, they had been left open. Caroline kindly brought us a second fan, but even with all the windows open at night, we could not get rid of the heat. The bed linen is synthetic, so we ended up sleeping on the shower towels. The neighbours also smoked roughly every half hour between 5.30 a.m. and 11 p.m., which caused our bedroom to smell strongly of smoke. In an attempt to cool down, we visited the lovely, refreshing swimming pool in Connantre twice. It seemed a shame to spend more money, but we were so tired and overheated that we decided to book another hotel after all—one with shutters, cotton bed linen, air conditioning and a swimming pool.
