Appartamento La Mignola

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel welcome, greeting us in person and ensuring we had everything we needed. Throughout our stay, they remained in contact via WhatsApp, checking that we were settled and providing helpful recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation is spacious and well laid out, with a generous double bedroom, a comfortable living and dining area, and a modern shower room. The kitchen was particularly well equipped, containing everything needed to prepare meals during our stay. The full-size refrigerator was very useful, and the dishwasher meant we could relax without worrying about washing up. The dining table comfortably accommodated the three of us, while the sofa bed provided additional sleeping space when required. The shower room was spotless and featured a large walk-in rain shower with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Fresh towels and hand wash were also provided. The bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, good storage, and a walk-in wardrobe. Although there were televisions in both the bedroom and living area, we barely noticed them because the views from the property were simply stunning. A particularly thoughtful touch was the fly screens fitted to both external doors, allowing fresh air into the apartment without any unwanted visitors. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the covered stone terrace directly outside the property. It offered breathtaking views and was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or simply sit and take in the surroundings. A short walk leads to the large family swimming pool, which also enjoys spectacular views and has plenty of loungers available. The property is only a short drive from the main town, making it convenient for groceries, restaurants, and anything else you may need during your stay.

The only issue we experienced was that we were unable to get the air conditioning working on our final night. We mentioned this to the host when checking out, and they immediately explained that they would have happily resolved the problem had we contacted them during our stay. As we only needed it on the last evening, we did not raise it sooner. Based on our experience with their responsiveness and communication throughout the stay, I have no doubt the issue would have been resolved quickly if we had let them know.

Rien tout était parfait

We had a wonderful time at this lovely place, surrounded by olive trees and offering fantastic views over the valley. The swimming pool, located slightly uphill from the guest house, provided an even more breathtaking panorama - including a view of Civiconuo Campiglia. The nearby towns, including Campiglia and other charming villages, had great restaurants, and the sea was just a short drive away. The owners were very friendly and welcoming - we even received some thoughtful treats from them during our stay. Their homemade olive oil was delicious, and we made sure to buy some to take home with us.
