Velvet Suites

Place was super clean, safe, food was excellent and fairly priced, and all the staff were excellent and welcoming. Mireille,Anet, Melville at Reception, Julienne and Jeannette and others with House keeping, Yvett and the other staff at the rooftop seating area were all amazing. Gratiude to Emmanuel the manager for such an awesome place with excellent standards.

Nothing to do with velvet, but there was ongoing road construction right outside the hotel which sometimes was noisy at night.

I only spent one night here and had to get up really early for my flight so I coudn't benefit from the breakfast. However the receptionist had a fresh fruit juice prepared for me to take away which was very thoughtful. The hotel is very close to the airport and they off a FREE shuttle service to get there which was greatly appreciated. The room was quite small but modern and clean which is all I need. The bathroom was spacious though and they provided toiletries too. Good value for money for an overnight stay.

My room was on the ground floor right next to the reception so very noisy. When I go back I'll make sure to ask for another room. My taxi driver had trouble finding the hotel and accessing it as there were road works all around, but this won't last forever!!

the breakfast was very basic, the location was very close to the airport

breakfast could be better

The hotel's location is brilliant, not far from the airport. The pick-up service/hotel shuttle was also excellent, so was the size of the room. The hotel was equally understanding and served breakfast early at the room as I had an early morning check in.

The room I was assigned was right next to the reception and on the ground floor. There was too much noise late into the night from both the reception's TV, movement of people and from the parking area. The bathroom is quite nice, though the hotel should consider adding a shower curtain as a simple shower leaves the toilet splattered with water all over. The first time I saw a urinal inside a hotel's room.
