Villa Val d'Or

Appartement très spacieux, au charme vintage et parfaitement bien équipé. L’accueil chaleureux de Françoise et Florence a été excellent, elles sont disponibles et très attentionnées. Le logement dispose d’un grand espace extérieur, idéal pour se détendre et profiter du calme. Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables avec mes deux enfants, qui ont particulièrement apprécié le grand espace du logement, idéal pour jouer et s’amuser en toute tranquillité. On apprécie également : • la propreté impeccable, • la literie très confortable, • la cuisine fonctionnelle avec tout le nécessaire, • la luminosité agréable dans toutes les pièces, • et la proximité avec les commerces et transports. Un lieu idéal aussi bien pour un court séjour que pour des vacances plus longues.

This a a truly amazing place! The apartment has all the Belle Epoque vibes (the building dates from the 1880ies) with lovely original furniture yet all mod-cons required. The blending between the ancient charm and modern amenities (eg shower, kitchen installation) is superb and everything feels as if we as tourists continue a tradition of inhabiting the place. To balance expectations: this is not a high-gloss, museum-like historic building, but one that tells of its past and immediately feels like "home". We absolutely enjoyed this! And then there is the garden: from the apartment you have direct access to an enormously big terrace, from where you get a glimpse of the sea (about 1km) for your breakfast under palm trees and olives. Still more impressive is the overall garden that surrounds the terrace - a green luxury with lots of trees, flowers, birds, squirrels and more. And above all, this splendor is just for us - and Frances, who is a wonderful host, always helpful and with lots of information about the places to go, shop or swim. Moreover, the Villa Val d'Or is situated perfectly: it is absolutely quiet, yet only 10 minutes by foot from the town center of Saint Raphael. To the other side of the slope it is a 3 minutes drive to an area with supermarkets.

There is nothing not to like about this place!
