Rustic House

The property was located 4 blocks away from Parque Calderon, close to shops, restaurants. The staff were helpful, friendly and, polite. Everyday they cleaned my room. The big TV screen was a good addition. Their full breakfast was delicious, eggs, fresh fruit juice, bread, hot chocolate, yogurt, mixed fresh fruit and tea. I liked the complementary water.

They gave me a room with a really small window and angle shaped roof over the bed. My check out date was on Monday…I was surprised not breakfast was offer to me even though breakfast was included with my reservation. No one told me about it I was counting on that because my bus was booked at 9am so I traveled without food. Also, they don’t have heater.

Exceptional location in the heart of the historic city center, just a few minutes walk from the cathedral. Room 1 has a super contemporary modern bathroom with Florida ceiling, architectural tile, glass, shower, and huge “rainforest@ disk showerhead. Room furnishings are ample, with big screen TV, locking refrigerator/freezer, locking nightstands, Café table with chairs, armoire. Ample hot water Very nice ample hot breakfast served in the courtyard each morning. The host Anderson is exceptional, as are all of the staff.

Rooms don’t have heating and nights are sometimes nippy. Bed has a comforter and a blanket, though. Free parking is a couple blocks away, and the hotel is on a one lane one-way historic cobblestone street, so stopping in front of the hotel to unload bags is not an option. The buildings in the historic city center are well over 100 years old, so this just comes with the territory, to be honest. A hotel employee drove with us a couple blocks to the parking, and then helped carry our luggage the couple blocks back to the hotel.
