Maison confortable à Ansouis dans Le Luberon

Logement très grand et très sympa avec une jolie déco. les propriétaires Katherine et Roland sont d'une grande gentillesse et très accueillant. Passionnés de leur région, ils sont de bon conseil pour toutes les visites. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison sans oublier la piscine qui nous a permis de nous rafraichir par ces fortes chaleurs. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir dans ce jolie village d' Ansouis.

La casa era grande, arredata con gusto, comoda e silenziosa, fornita di tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari. Disposta su due piani, ha accolto le nostre due famiglie (6 persone e un cane) in spazi luminosi e confortevoli. Gli ospiti sono stati sempre disponibili e discreti. La piscina ha offerto momenti di sollievo nelle ore più calde della giornata. insomma: l'abitazione ci ha offerto la base d'appoggio ideale per le nostre esplorazioni del territorio!

The house and pool are lovely, and everything we needed was provided. The shower gel, shampoo, and lotion placed on the towels were a really thoughtful touch. However, although the owner assured us the property was private, it definitely is not.

This property is not private, as the owner lives directly behind on the hill and overlooks the house. During our stay, the owner shouted from her stairs at my children, stating that dogs were not allowed near the pool. This rule was never mentioned prior to arrival. When we explained that our dogs do not swim and simply wanted to sit with us, she eventually made an exception. On other occasions, she told my son we would be charged £10,000 if the umbrella blew over, and later advised us that pool noodles and floats must not be left in the pool — none of which were rules we were aware of beforehand. It felt as though we were constantly being monitored and policed from her property. We also had a dispute about check-out time. Booking.com confirmed 11am, but the owner insisted on 10am and even changed the information on Booking.com during our stay. In the end, she reluctantly agreed to 11am, but we were packed and ready by 10am regardless. At check-out, the owner conducted an extremely detailed inspection, even asking me to remove a sweet wrapper from under the coffee table and soap from the shower. Once those minor points were addressed, she confirmed we were fine to leave. However, the next day I received a charge of nearly £380 for reasons including: logging into Netflix with my own subscription (which does not incur any cost to the owner), not “spring cleaning” the property after a two-week stay (when a normal level of cleaning should reasonably be expected), and allegedly damaging furniture (nothing was damaged, nor mentioned during her thorough inspection). In all my years of travel, I have never experienced such intrusive behaviour from an owner, nor such unreasonable additional charges after departure.
