I booked this apartment at short notice so my husband and a colleague could attend a conference. The apartment was well equipped. Eventually, we found a way to communicate with the host and he was helpful.

The bigget problem we experienced was because the person who made the booking was not a guest in the apartment. None of us had ever used Booking.com before and we had enormous trouble understanding how the process worked. The booking was in my name, not the guests. The taxi from the airport was a total failure. The guests had only one key altough they needed two. Accessing the parking was difficult. By the time we found a way to communicate with the host it was far too late. We did not receive the messages that would have given us the information about how to get the key and other important details. Everyone became stressed.

There was no breakfast supplied you had to buy your own supplies. This place was actually an air B&B. I liked that it was walking distance into the city and trams and the view from the apartment was great, you could see to the ocean; and it was close to everything. I also like there was a washer and dryer, internet and parking and a small kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop and oven and airfryer. The secure parking was the seller for us (although the first night we had to find overnight paid parking because the fob for the parking was not where they said it would be.

There were a lot of rules, for example don't talk to anyone, don't wash the only towel supplied, so we brought our own because we were staying 8 nights, there was no cleaning supplies so we had to buy our own, the toilet ran constantly and didn't flush which was annoying, the shower pressure was terrible. We were so worried that we would do something wrong like say hello to someone we were not suppose to that it kind of spoilt the stay. One of the beds was like rock, the place wasn't really clean (it wasn't filthy either), the window in the lounge leaked water when it rained, the floor wasn't even so I kept tripping up. There was a dishwasher but only 3 packets of dishwasher powder for 9 days. There was also only one set of keys supplied so if someone went out the other person had to stay home because you could get out without a key but not back in and we were told not to talk to anyone so no one could let us back up if we got stuck downstairs.
