The Heart of the West End #3

The apartment was lovely and nicely updated. The apartment was very clean, the location is great and having a parking spot with the apartment is very helpful.

The condo is lovely and perfect for two couples traveling together. It’s easy to walk to nearby restaurants and Commercial Street is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride, so super convenient. I noticed other people had complained about the heat, but it was totally fine.

There are ceiling height windows from each bathroom to its respective bedroom, which allows for more light into the bathroom, but once you switch on the light in the bathroom, everyone in the bedroom is wide awake. There is one parking spot that is a bit tight. We had two cars and Vacasa was extremely unhelpful with suggestions. If you go and have an extra car, try parking over on Pine Street. It’s only a couple of blocks away and there were plenty of spaces. I much prefer booking with a host than a corporate entity.

Property was clean and nicely decorated. Location was great - in a quiet neighborhood very close to Congress Street with restaurants and bars and walking distance to the museum. Bathrooms and kitchen had all the necessary supplies, extra blankets and towels were provided. We had a car and property provided for 1 parking space which was great. Communication with renting company was timely, all the check in information sent ahead of time and follow up regarding our stay during and after done promptly.

Living room did not have heating unit which was not a big issue for us but might be for guests visiting in winter.
