Great space and facilities/ great for the family especially appreciated the bathrooms and utility room. Great location for the end of the beach good for paddle boarding/ surfing

We were a group of 14 people, and the house can comfortably accommodate everyone. There are three bathrooms, one in each floor, and they were reasonably furnished with amenities. The kitchen is very wide and well equipped, and the bedrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The location was very good, a short walk to the beach.

Unfortunately, in the last night, when we arrived at the house, we noticed the boiler wasn’t working. Next day the host went and fixed it.

It was spacious- kitchen was well equipped- beds all spotlessly clean and comfy

Heating: When we arrived, the house was extremely cold. The wall monitor wasn’t connecting to the heating system, and there was no gas supply. Fortunately, a young man arrived with toilet rolls and kindly helped us get the boiler working. The last 24 hours of stay No heating or hot water at all Outdoor Bin: The outside bin was overflowing with rubbish, mostly empty wine bottles scattered around. As we had our dog with us, we couldn’t let him out for fear he might cut his paws on the glass. Maintenance Issues: The upstairs bathroom window nearly fell off its hinges when we opened it. My husband managed to secure it temporarily, but it definitely needs repair. The curtain in the first bedroom upstairs is broken and couldn’t be reattached. Facilities Not as Advertised: We were expecting a hot tub as listed in the property details, but there wasn’t one. Bathroom Problems: The shower on the top floor isn’t working, and the bath plug doesn’t hold water, so neither option was usable. Fireplace: We were looking forward to using the fire, but when we lit it, the house filled with smoke. My husband had to remove the wood and take it outside. It seems the fireplace isn’t safe to use, even though it’s advertised as a usable feature. Hot Water: Finally, the hot water stopped working entirely on Sunday.
