The location is truly amazing — first line by the sea, very cozy and atmospheric place.
The staff are wonderful: attentive, friendly, always willing to help.
There is everything you need on the property: tasty food, massage, free kayak, coffee, scooter rental. The territory is beautiful and well maintained. Overall, the place really feels like a fairytale.
However, one critical issue completely outweighs all of the above:
A severe and fundamental mismatch between the room description and the actual room.
The room is advertised as 28 m², but in reality the total size is around 20 m² (maximum 22 m²).
Moreover, the actual living room area is only about 14 m²,
the bathroom is approximately 1.5 m²,
and the remaining 5–5.5 m² are just the terrace, which is apparently used to artificially reach the stated size.
In other words, the spacious room we expected simply does not exist in reality. The room itself is extremely small, and this is obvious to the naked eye. This discrepancy cannot be explained by measurement error — it is a clear misrepresentation.
Because of this, I had a very unpleasant feeling of being misled. I honestly felt scammed, and it completely ruined the overall impression of the stay. I wanted to address this issue immediately after check-in, but my child had a fever, and at that moment it was not possible to deal with complaints.
No matter how great the staff and the property are, lying in the room description is unacceptable, especially regarding such a fundamental factor as room size. This is not a minor detail — it is a crucial parameter when choosing accommodation.
Later, while reading other reviews, I realized that I am far from the first guest to point out this issue. Similar comments already exist, which means this is a systemic problem, not an isolated case.
That is why I am giving 1 point, so that Booking reviews this situation and checks whether the description matches reality.

Nice and cozy place! We were very happy to stay there! Very quiet rural area, kinda island vibe
Perfect place, but not for people who travel luxury! For me and my two boys this place was just amazing!

The location by the sea is great, breakfast is very rich and you can order more than one plate.
The staff is very kind and helpful. The laundry service is great as we got our clothes cleaned, folded and also ironed!
The room is very small but enough for few days

I didn’t like anything at all, as I left immediately. On top of that, I lost my booking, which cost me over 9300 baht!
The cabin I was given was tiny, rundown, and in completely unacceptable condition. The bathroom was outright filthy. My wife and I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there; she immediately told me she would not sleep in a place like this. We left the property right away.
The beach was far from appealing: the water was muddy, and the only facilities provided for guests were a few cheap plastic chairs. It all reinforced the overall impression of neglect and poor-quality service.
To make matters worse, when I asked for a taxi to leave as quickly as possible, the hotel’s own driver charged us 500 baht for a ride of not even 20 minutes — an outrageous price.
Honestly, avoid this place at all costs.

We loved the private beach and secluded location. There was shade on the beachfront in the resort from a huge tree, lounges, tables and chairs and bean bags provided on the beach as well as festoon lighting at night. Sea kayaks free to use. Scooters available to rent from reception. A free shuttle bus into Ao Nang twice daily. The staff were wonderful, so kind and attentive. Our bed linen and towels were exceptional, they felt brand new and great quality. The bungalow was so clean and ready on our arrival. We were given bottled water and toilet paper everyday. This place is a hidden gem and by far a stand out during our time spent in Thailand.

Close to the sea, nice staff , good food (the portions are very big also :) ) , quiet zone , you pay around 120baht to get to Ao nang so it’s cheap and worth it. Overall for us it was a nice experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pan Beach Front Resort.
The room was spacious, clean, and pleasant, with good air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Near the reception, there’s a small area where you can prepare tea or coffee, which I found very convenient.
The restaurant offers tasty food, and the staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. I also appreciated the free transfer to Ao Nang, which makes exploring the area easy and stress-free. From Ao Nang, you can easily take a Grab back to the resort for around 120 Baht (the price may vary slightly).
The resort itself is quiet and peaceful, perfect for rest and relaxation. The beach is beautiful, and watching the tides come and go was one of my favorite experiences — so calming and grounding.
There was nothing in particular that I didn’t enjoy

Only mosquito Maybe an extra net for the bed.

The fact that the bungaloos were on the beach.
My stay at this hotel was very disappointing despite its beautiful location. The bedding and towels were in terrible condition, full of holes, sometimes the wrong size bedding, and clearly worn out. I was even presented with a bill of over £100 for a tiny stain left from my new shorts, but when I saw the sheet with multiple large holes, I refused to pay for such rags. The catering was below average: breakfast options were disappointing, and the omelet I ordered on the last day was swimming in oil. The tap water was yellow-brown, making showers feel unsafe. It’s a shame, because the hotel’s setting is fantastic, but management is poor. On the bright side, the staff were generally helpful, especially the girl at reception.

Very costly for a very basic breakfast. Food and drinks are overpriced

The place itself is extremely beautiful! I loved the views and the secluded beach, it was so clean and gorgeous! Also the tides that came in and out have it a charm and I could see marine life. They also have two kayaks you can take on a journey! The staff is lovely and the food is home cooked which was great!
My room was great however there was some amenities missing as fridge I really wanted to cool down my water, also the toilet and shower walls are just wooden logs with net to separate you from the outside life, they do say they have plenty of animals but it could be better insulation between the room and unwanted wildlife. Another thing is that they don’t haw any small light near the bed, I saw few lizards in my room which didn’t bother me but I would love to be able to have tiny light near the bed if I get uncomfortable, there was some animals on the roof at night which again was fine but I felt a bit uneasy as I was staying alone and I would appreciate if I could turn on some light. Lastly I was very careful about not letting any hugs into my room and I asked for cleaning and after I returned there was many hugs in my room, it seems like the cleaning lady wasn’t bothered too much about it. The place is beautiful but because of it secluded nature there is also many of the sand flies and their bites are more annoying than mosquitos. They tell me this in advance but I didn’t expect it to be that bad.

We didn’t even stay here, we checked out within half an hour of seeing the room. It was a box room with no window, even though the advertisement was a lovely spacious room with a garden view. Lizards in the room, the staff found this funny when we told them, overall awful, and not what is described.

Perfect location. Lovely staff. A perfect get away on the beach

It was very quiet.
We feel very mislead. The beach is pretty but the water is a literal backwash of dirty , muddy water . The water only goes to your shins , at best .
Our room had ants all in the bathroom . We lost electricity (which runs on a generator) several times ,thankfully it always come back on.
I booked this stay with breakfast included and when we got there , we were told we didn’t.
It was 10 mins out of town and we charged extra from our transfer because of that.

Nice atmosphere, delicious cooks on staff.
Room just too small, nowhere for a suitcase, would only recommend for backpackers.

The hotel is facing a very nice beach, the Pan Beach. Staff was nice and available. Everything was clean inside the room and the dining area. The place was very quiet and allows you to sleep really well.
The access to Ao Nang is difficult since they only offer shuttles 2 times a day and it's at least 20 minutes away by car. One or 2 more services would have been better?
They just have a restaurant so by being so far, they force you to consume there even your water (they offer 2 complimentary 500 ml waters per day). There's not a fridge, not a kettle in the bedroom (also that wouldn't fit). The room was so small that it was hard to open our suitcases and there are no closets, just a little hanger.
There's no warm water for the shower (it's not terrible because it's always very warm, but we would have liked to be informed when booking and not the very day of our arrival during our check in).
When we checked out, we were expecting to pay all our consumptions with credit card but in that very moment they informed us that they only received cash.
Breakfast was very limited, the food that was offered was OK but for being buffet there were little options. For the price we paid for the accommodation we were expecting more. We had been in Ao Nang previously and in Railey Beach and breakfasts had been varied, and offered more services for less. It was OK but value for money wise not so much.
Another point is that we were always surrounded by dogs that go from one hotel to the other, that seem to not have owners.
Arround the plot there was always trash that was in bags or just on the ground just a couple of meters from we were sitting in the beach. The hotel just burns the leaves just next to where the guests stay during the day, and all the rest is there displayed which didn't offer the nicest view.

Location was very nice (on a private beach). Restaurant and bar of the hotel were good. Breakfast could have been a bit more diverse
Breakfast could have been more diverse (more fruits, and jams..)

The location is quiet and peaceful
The breakfast was pretty awful, Nescafé coffee, minimal fruit, rubbery pre fried eggs and white thin toast.
Also the restaurant lied about location of other restaurants nearby which were far superior and a short walk away.
Could have some activities included such as bowls or something!! Mosquitoes are voracious as near the mangroves.

Beautiful setting, right on the beach... very quiet
The place is 15 min drive from Ao Nang and it is advisable to rent a scooter or have a car, although they have a shuttle to downtown.

It was cute and charming. Very nice beach. Great for a couples get away to relax and be isolated from everyday world. Then this is your place.
It was too remote for us. If that is what you like this is the place for you. Also too many mosquitoes of our liking.

• Staff were very lovely and attentive, they honestly couldn’t do enough for us. They always greeted us pleasantly and had a chat with us. They even let us check in and have access to our rooms early.
• We stayed in two of the sea view huts, these were very clean inside with amenities such as functional aircon, hairdryer and TV. The bed was also very comfortable.
• Own private beach with bean bags, parasol and tables/chairs to use.
• Cute little beach bar which served drinks and also food, which was very reasonably priced.
• Nice quiet and secluded location, but still easily accessible via taxi or shuttle bus (times of bus in reception)

Plusieurs services proposés (navettes gratuites, blanchisserie, kayak, etc...).
