La casa es preciosa, grande, bien decorada, jardín muy agradable.

La casa es impresionante. Todo muy bonito y cuidado cada detalle. La casa tiene un encanto especial y es muy grande. Relación calidad precio excelente.

The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. The beds and the couches are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, and of good quality. The garden is very pleasant. The two sitting rooms were a plus - it was great to have one space with the TV (which we actually used as the World Cup was going on), and a separate space to just chill. Location was amazing - a well stocked supermarket and a very helpful pharmacy a stone’s throw away, and a lovely walk to the Riviera (the walk back took us about 35 min, as it is uphill and we were strolling, but it was still enjoyable). We didn’t eat out, so can’t comment on restaurants. All in all, this was a fantastic stay!

The only thing I didn’t like, was that the a/c doesn’t really work. My thoughts on this are that the house is very big and, the ceilings are high, and although there are temperature controls in every room, it seems to be a central system. So any central system is going to struggle to keep such huge spaces cool. The front rooms (the bedroom with 3 beds & the sitting room with the TV) get the afternoon sun, and we were asked to keep the shutters closed in the afternoon. This is normal practice in very hot countries, so we totally understood. But to be honest, it didn’t make a difference. We ended up leaving the shutters open when we were in the bedroom, and opening the windows to let the fresh breeze in. We also found a couple of fans, and this was the only reason we could actually sleep at night. But there were only two fans, so not enough for every room (the spaces are so big, you need at least 2 per room). In fairness, we were out all day, and never contacted the property about this, so we didn’t really give them a chance to make it better. I am only mentioning this in case you expect a ‘fridge cool’ house, as you are not going to get that. On saying all this, the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room next to the dining room were fresh and very comfortable to be in, as was the garden. And I would definitely stay here again (I would just ask the property to supply a few more fans).
