Sandy Shores - Canalfront Oasis, Guest Suite, Pool

The house was very spacious, very clean inside, it is 💯 percent a fully self contained kitchen, we were very impressed. Overall it was fantastic!

The layout of the bedrooms did not quite suit our adult family. Only because the room with the queen bed and two singles were not totally separate from one another like originally thought. It could also use a door to the bathroom from where the queen room is situated. It would be perfect for parents with small children. Also the room with the bunk bed is very squeaky. Very easily fixed to make an outstanding property.

The property was perfect for our family stay on the Gold Coast. Plenty of room to accommodate 6 adults and 3 children (12, 9 & 2). With full kitchen & bbq area to eat in if desired. The location was central to everything you would want to experience, beaches, theme parks, shops and restaurants. The outlook over the canal and Surfers Paradise gorgeous, especially at night. Security parking for several vehicles. Dealing with our host Laura was super easy and an absolute pleasure.

Faulty and unusable equipment. Dirty laundry found on our arrival. Airconditioner filters were very unclean, totally clogged with dust, probably the reason that they did not cool well. The cleaning fee charged is exhorbitent considering the state we found the place in. Messaged the owner, who was initially responsive, but the promised remedy has not eventuated, even after polite follow up.
