Brassbell l DT l Art Deco Designer Apartments

The appartment self is a nice and clean appartment with art deco interior in downtown of Cairo next to synagogue.

The name of the building is not Brassbell, it is the name of management (the owner of the appartment)as the building shares with the other two hotels (Grand Lyly hotel and Select Hotel)and private properties. You would not find any sign with name of Brassbell in the building even the security did not know and they speak only Arabic. It creates a problem as I though the appartment had a receptionist, but when we arrived there nobody knew Brassbell appartment, even the security/woman who lives in the same building. None speaks English. I have no internet connection, so it made worse. Later I contacted the management of appartment, with the help of the woman who lives innthe same building and a hotel receptionist in neighbourhood after he gave me access to their wifi. Brassbell management should gave us instruction how to reach them before we arrived in Cairo. Dirty entrance with very old elevator. it seems when this building was erected 100+ years ago, the entire building has never been renovated. Maintenance is very very poor (building, stairs, windows and elevators) When I look at emergency exit of the appartment,it seems the people who live there throuwing the garbage from their windows to emergency stairs. So it is dark and filty emergency exit!

Beautiful art deco apartment, very nicely decorated with vintage furniture. Very safe as right next to abandoned synagogue which has police protection.

Icy cold - two small heaters totally inadequate Lots of noise all night coming from parties in the neighborhood

لقد كان جميع الموظفين في غاية اللطف و الاحترام و حريصين على إرضاء المقيمين الشقق مطابقة للوصف نظيفة و مجهزة جيدا كان لنا ملاحظة على وجود بعض الازعاج في إحدى الليالي من الاحتفالات فقام الفريق المسؤول و الآنسة ميرنا بتغيير محل الإقامة فورا إلى مكان مريح و هادئ و مناسب لي و لعائلتي شكرا لكم كانت إقامة ممتعة و زيارة رائعة انصح الكل بالإقامة عندكم ..شكرا للشباب محمد وائل و الموظفين من يوم ٢٣ إلى يوم ٢٨ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٤
