Location was perfect for walking to pubs and shops. Alan was helpful with checking in and so kind with groceries and a snack basket! You are right at the departure for Aran Islands boat tour.
There was a leak in the living area with water stains on the ceiling and what appeared to be black mold. Alan said the cleaning folks must have missed it. Be prepared that ships may start loading at 7:00 am. Fun to watch-but you may be woken up early.

The living space for our family of 6 adults (3 generations), to congregate and play games after a long day of gallivanting, the view out towards the shipyard and location made this booking worthwhile. The host also provided eggs and butter, as well as snacks and treats upon arrival.
The cleanliness was just adequate. (Not hotel clean) Lamps were missing bulbs, light switches broken in room, ceiling leaked when it rained into the middle of the floor, and no kitchen towels.
