The location is perfect, only a short walk to Eyre Square, Shop St, etc… lots of space with four bedrooms. View is fantastic. Communication was great. Kids loved the little pool/ping pong table.
This was our second stay at the Penthouse. The first time we stayed in 2015, the property was amazing, and I was so excited to book it again. This time, you could tell it had fallen into disrepair, which is sad given the price. It started with the front door, which barely opened wide enough to get our large suitcases through. Many of the windows and glass doors had issues—wouldn’t open or wouldn’t close all the way. The small bathroom had a mold problem and there was literally something hanging down from the ceiling. In the master bath, the faucet was missing a handle, so only the hand shower could be used to fill the tub. On the comfort side, they provided two small, flat pillows for a king sized bed—there were two additional pillows in the cupboard but also low quality. The paint around the apartment is very scuffed. Again, I could have overlooked a lot of this, but at $1,000 per night, I expected the luxury we had from our first stay.
