Location and good air conditioning. Food ok.

The lack of cooking facilities, the pool make everything green- 2 costumes ruined. The demand for deposit very shady experience. Not made aware on booking that a deposit was required. Housekeeping collected the money- no receipt, no room check to look at current damage. Was not happy handing over to housekeeping. Spoke to another woman over the phone who explained it was all ok because they were wearing uniform. We stayed here after 2 months traveling through Thailand , Cambodia, Singapore and Malaysia and did not experience anything like this- felt like a con. Still had to hand over the money( not even to reception staff) then on departure the same woman arrived and this time did a room check, why I don’t know because she had nothing to compare with!! She thanked us and said everything was ok and then proceeded to leave. When I stoped her on the corridor to ask for the return of the deposit her behaviour changed and it was all “ OK madam you want your money, you will have to wait 5 minutes and she left, she did return after another 15 minutes with the money but clearly not happy about handing it back- poor customer experience
