Lunarosa

The hosts were some of the most lovely people we have met, making us feel right at home and providing great recommendations for the surrounding area. Carmelo and Marisa have tended a beautiful and peaceful property that sits in a stunning location - the photos don't do justice to the view, which stretches all the way to the sea. We loved sitting on the terrace with coffee and watching the sun rise over the water, before exploring nearby vineyards and towns like Taormina, Linguaglossa and Randazzo. The property itself is cosy, clean and homely, with everything you need for a week or more's stay (great coffee machine, full kitchen, washing machine etc.). The bed was comfy and we slept well because the area is so quiet (broken only by birds and the church bells... which might not be everyone's cup of tea, but we found them atmospheric!). We would love to stay again.

Petite maison très agréable et très bien équipée ; literie confortable. Rien ne manque dans cette maison. Une vue magnifique de la terrasse. Très bien située pour visiter. Des hôtes particulièrement souriants et accueillants.

Wir hatten schöne Tage bei Carmelo im Haus Lunarosa. Wir wurden sehr sehr herzlich empfangen und mit Obst aus dem eigenen Garten und frischen Eiern versorgt. Der Ausblick vom Haus zum Meer runter ist ein tolles Panorama. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche super ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz liegt direkt vor der Tür. Ein Highlight sind auf jeden Fall auch die zwei Esel im Garten unterhalb des Parkplatzes, die sich sehr über ein paar Karotten freuen. Das Haus hat eine sehr gute Lage für Ausflüge zum Ätna oder z.B. auch nach Taormina. Das Haus liegt höher am Berg, die Anfahrt dorthin aber auch mit etwas größerem Auto sehr gut machbar. Wir können Lunarosa auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, danke an Carmelo und Marisa.

Ein besonderes und liebevoll eingerichtetes kleines Häuschen ruhig gelegen in den Bergen mit wunderschöner Aussicht auf das Meer. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und geben viele Informationen für die nähere Umgebung.
